Our system of government is actually rather ingenious. It’s ingenious because you can buy a piece of government at very low cost. If the military industrial contractors just buy off a couple committees, that’s enough. Because they’re the only ones that have responsibility.
If the health insurers just buy off the health committees in the House and the Senate, that’s enough. If the Israel lobby just gets it’s hold on a couple of committees, they run American foreign policy in the Middle East.
